Class Schedule 

Fall 2008  Classes begin Monday September 8

 

Introduction to Yoga:

A great way to begin learning about Yoga!  Gentle stretches, beginning postures, and an introduction to meditation and deep relaxation.

Mondays 6:30-7:45 p.m.

 


Hatha Yoga - All Levels:

Gentle work designed to increase strength and flexibility, while reducing stress and calming the mind.  Variations will be offered for all postures, that will allow students to progress at their own level and speed.

Tuesdays 6:30-7:45 p.m.

 


Yoga II:

More in-depth work on stretching and traditional postures, breathing exercises, and practice in visualization and deep relaxation.  For students with some previous experience in Yoga.

Thursdays 7:45-9:00 p.m. 

 

 

Relax and Restore:

Devote a whole class to letting go of stress.  Restorative postures and an extended deep relaxation experience will melt  them away.  Emerge with a quiet mind, a relaxed body, with the powerful energy created by releasing the body's tensions.

Thursdays 6:30-7:30 p.m.

 


 

Fees for classes:

Fall semester - 12 weeks       $120 per class series

Class cards are available for 5 or 10 classes at $11 per class and can be used for any class during the Fall semester.

 Drop-ins:  $12 per class (Because classes are small, please call first to be sure space is available)

New students: You are welcome to take a first class for $10 to see if the class suits you.  This payment will be applied to the series cost, if you decide to register for the semester.

 

Fall Schedule:

Classes run September 8-December 11

No  classes October 13, November 11, November 27
