Introduction to Yoga:

A great way to begin learning about Yoga!  Gentle stretches, beginning postures, and an introduction to meditation and deep relaxation.

Mondays 6:30-7:45 p.m.

 

New Class - Gentle Yoga

A slow and easy Yoga class that focuses on increasing flexibility, balance, and core strength along with overall fitness.  No previous experience required.

Thursdays 9:30-10:30 a.m.

 

Hatha Yoga - All Levels:

Gentle work designed to increase strength and flexibility, while reducing stress and calming the mind.  Variations will be offered for all postures, to allow students to progress at their own level and speed.

Tuesdays and Thursdays 6:30-7:45 p.m.  

 

 

Relax and Restore:

Devote a whole class to letting go of stress.  Restorative postures and an extended deep relaxation experience will melt  them away.  Emerge with a quiet mind, a relaxed body, with the powerful energy created by releasing the body's tensions.

First Tuesday of each month 6:30-7:30 p.m. (8/3, 9/7, 10/5, 11/2, 12/7)

 

Yoga in West Hartford:

Please join us at the Masonic Hall in West Hartford on Wednesday mornings for a $6 hour long Gentle Yoga drop-in class, beginning in September.  (Ask about the great Pilates class taught by Deb Karavais from 9-10.)

Wednesdays 10:15-11:15

Suggested fees for classes:

Remember, all group classes for 2010 are "pay-what-you-can".  The fees below are standard fees for those who would like some guidelines.  Please don't let financial stress keep you from discovering and enjoying a Yoga class!

 

You may prepay for a semester at $10 per class.   Fall semester will run 10 weeks September-December.  Semester cost:  $100

 

Class cards are available for 5 or 10 classes and are usually priced at  $11 per class.  They can be used for any class.  It's a good way to save a place for yourself if classes get crowded.

 

Drop-ins:  $12 per class (Because classes are small, please call first to be sure space is available - priority is given to students who have prepaid to reserve a place.)

 

New students: You are welcome to take a first class for whatever you can pay  to see if the class suits you.  Please contact us to arrange to take the class you're interested in.
